Vintage Paint by Numbers, man with baskets crosses a bridge, mid century PBN

A vintage Paint By Numbers painting of a man crossing a bridge with baskets of...well, what are they exactly? Tomatoes? Grapes? Flowers? That's the thing about PBN, you sometimes have to just squint and go with it. It's an idyllic scene of the man and his wide brim hat on a sunny summer day, crossing the bridge to go collect more red things, possibly. Will he stop to cool his feet in that languid blue green water? Let's hope so and let's hope that home or the market is just beyond the curve in the path and his work will be done soon.
In pretty good vintage condition with small bits paint missing along the edges, in hat area, and in one corner, all of which only adds to the overall chippy charm of the painting. Measures 15.5" wide and 11.75" tall. Unframed. No signature of makers' mark. An excellent addition to mid century modern PBN collection.
