Dorchester Fruit and Soup Bowls, vintage porcelain transferware, Johnson Bros, England

Delightful porcelain transferware bowls from the renown Johnson Bro's of England. Made in the early 20th century in the Dorchester Rose Chintz pattern with charming pink and blue flowers and scalloped "pie" edges. I have soup bowls and rimmed fruit/dessert bowls, 8 of each, being sold in sets of four. Select your quantity in the selection drop down menu. Soup bowls are 7.25" in diameter. All in very good vintage condition with no cracks or color loss. Two bowls have very small rim chips but otherwise a gorgeous set. Priced at $12 per bowl but if you order all eight, the price drops to $10 each.

The rimmed fruit/dessert bowls are 7.75" diameter and are more flat than the soup bowls. Perfect for fruit salad or scoops of ice cream with a cookie perched on the rim, I think. All in great vintage condition with no cracks or color loss, although one dish has a rim chip. Priced at $12 per bowl but if you order all eight, the price drops to $10 each.
