DetailsA gorgeous pair of ornate cobalt and gold salad plates by legendary luxury porcelain makers Limoges Haviland and Company of France. Cobalt blue rim adorned with garlands of olive branches and a woodland bacchanal motif of torches, pan flute, archery quiver, etc. The center field has pink roses behind a garden fence, surrounded by a gilt ribbon garland and with a center gold sun burst. That's a lot of luxe going on for a little salad plate but if anyone could pull it off, it's the French. Hopefully these beauties can fill out your table fit for a Duchess or get you started on your own Limoges collection.
These plates are in extremely good vintage (possibly antique) condition with no chips, cracks or utensil marks. Measures 8.25" diameter. Marked on the reverse: "Haviland & Co Limoges pour The E.B. Taylor Co Richmond Va."
Shipping is set at $28 but if you are closer to me on the east coast and shipping ends up being less, I will refund the difference. Thanks for looking! -
