Mid Century Modern Mushroom Painting, Red Caps, original oil, 1970's
$88.00

DetailsA funky study of some gorgeous red cap mushrooms. 'Shrooms were truly a ubiquitous 70's era theme but this painting is unique in it's whimsy. I love the alert but elegant postures and the impression that they might start dancing, Fantasia-style. Signed by the artist "J. Hanley, 1972, Detroit." In what appears to be the original frame. Measures 17" tall and 12.75" wide. A very mid-century charming addition to your art collection.
