  • Details
A vivid serigraph print of a circus performer with glass-like colors and heavy black outlines, as is typical of the artist, Georges Rouault, a student of the École des Beaux Arts, who began his artistic career as an apprentice stained glass maker. Printed by Arthur Rothmann Fine Arts, Inc, possibly in 1939 but maybe later as there is no date listed. In a mid-century white wash wood frame with a clean new mat. Minor repaired tears along edges (completely hidden under mat). In very good vintage condition.
