Luxurious gilt domed dish with neo-grec ladies, M&R, Marks and Rosenfeld USA

Are you ready for your rococo era? The lovely ladies on this exquisite domed dish will show you how it's done. Round hand painted covered dish in a
sea-foam back ground color with ornate gilt design work and two round images of neo-grec ladies lounging in a woodland scene. Gilt starburst painted on the interior.

Marked on the back in, of course, gold: "Hand Painted M&R U.S.A." I believe this a Marks and Rosenfeld makers mark, probably made in the early 20th century. Perfect on the dinner table as a butter or sauce dish, maybe for bon-bons, or on the vanity table for jewelry, trinkets or body powder with a puff. Endless possibilities, all of them glamorous.

In very good vintage condition, no cracks or chips, with some gilt loss on the top handle. Measures 4" tall and 6" diameter. I hope this adds just the right over the top element to your maximalist decor. Thanks for looking!
