DetailsA fantastical underwater scene in an abstract coral reef featuring a Seahorse, a Damsel Fish aka, a Hawaiian Sergeant, and possibly an Angel Fish. I love how they are all bobbing around and gliding through an explosive turquoise coral with feel of the ocean currents painted in iridescent blue and metallic gold, almost like marbling. No signature that I could find. I'm guessing, giving the metallic paint that this is late 20th century or more recent painting but I'm not sure. In a worn and chippy gilt frame which adds to the piece's overall whimsy.
