Pouncing Tiger Painting, amateur art, fauvist, animal art

DetailsA dynamic painting of a tiger in mid-pounce. The combination of mediums (paint, water color, pencil) with heavy, almost impasto, strokes with thin pencil underscores the subject's brute energy and grace; both deadly and playful while almost kitten-ish.
I wish I could read the stylized signature but someone with the initials C and maybe Z did an excellent job in 2010 (or maybe the last name is Zolo or Zoio? Doubtful, I think this is the date).
Measures 14" tall and 10.75" wide. Framed and under glass, ready to hang. An excellent gift for your favorite tiger fan or a powerful addition to any room decor. -
