Tea Time
Vintage Kutani Hand Painted Eggshell Porcelain Geisha Tea Set
$120.00
-
DetailsAn exquisite hand painted Kutani Geisha Girl tea set depicting a lovely waterside scene. Delicate, almost see-through porcelain with tiny white moriage blossoms. Includes four tea cups and saucers, a sugar bowl with lid, a creamer and a teapot. In excellent antique condition with no chips. The teapot measures 4.5" tall and 7.5" from spout to handle. Signed "Hand Paint Made in Japan" on the underside. A few stray color marks that I think are a part of the glaze (they won't come off in cleaning), that in no way detract from the over all charm.
A wonderful gift for your tea loving friend or a rarefied addition to your tea party collection. -
