DetailsJust what Neptune ordered! A lovely hand made trinket or love letter box carefully covered in shells. I think this is old, the red interior shows some wear and it looks like there used to be a ribbon opener but alas, this box has been used and loved a lot. Some shell color is faded but overall they still have that ocean glimmer and patina. Three round shells (what are they, fish vertebrae? I honestly don't know but I love how they give it a slightly more Goth feel) are missing but otherwise it is in good vintage condition. Measures 11" long, 9" wide and almost 5" tall.
